Test your understanding
Select the topics or fields you're interested in learning about. LearnerLift then presents to you one question at a time on these to test your understanding. Each question gives you instant feedback and a detailed explanation for the correct answer.
Gamified
Learn as if you're simply playing a trivia game! When you get the answer correct, you go up to the next difficulty level. When you get it wrong, you go down a level. The more difficult the question, the more points it's worth. If you're REALLY not sure what the answer is, you can choose to see the explanation first. This just means that you'll instead get half the available points for that question if you get it correct and also that the difficulty level will remain the same.
Personalized
We personalize your learning in different ways:
(1) You can choose as many topics or fields you're interested in learning about. We then present to you questions that match your learning interests.
(2) We adjust the difficulty level based on your performance. This is so you're presented with questions that aren't too easy for you yet aren't too challenging.
(3) You can view your unique learning history of all the amazing things you've learnt on LearnerLift.
(4) You can check out all your personalized stats for keeping track of your learning journey over time.
Track your progress
Check out your learner stats to see where you're doing well, what topics you've mastered, where you're losing the most points, and how much you've completed of each field. You can also check out your learner timeline to view the history of all the amazing things you've learnt on LearnerLift.
Multiple sources and perspectives
Our questions and explanations are uploaded from a variety of educators. This allows you to understand the content from different perspectives which can help you develop a deeper understanding of the topic.
Evidence-based
LearnerLift is designed based on evidence-based learning theories to optimize engagement, retention, and mastery:
(1) The difficulty level
automatically adjusts based on your performance, ensuring that your learning continually remains in that "sweet spot" of being not too easy yet not too challenging.
(2) Instead of passively consuming information, learners actively engage by answering questions and receiving instant feedback.
(3) Making mistakes is not only good for learning but also for brain growth and neuronal connectivity. That's why LearnerLift is designed so that you CAN make mistakes. We call these "growth opportunities".
(4) Rather than cramming, which is a very poor way to learn, LearnerLift provides you with spaced repition. This simply means that key topics are presented to you spaced out over time, which makes it easier for you to remember and understand these topics over the long term.
(5) Finally, we gamify your learning experience, such as with point scoring and streaks, to help keep you motivated and engaged!
